Is the app paid?
No. Reading and listening to the Quran, prayer times, supplications, hadiths and Islamic practice are entirely free. For those who wish, there is a supporter membership offering ad-free use and extended AI chat.
Do I have to download it from a store?
There is no need. IQRAN runs in the browser. If you choose "Add to Home Screen" from your phone's menu, it opens full screen and sends prayer time notifications.
Are the prayer times the same as the Diyanet's?
The times are calculated with the same angles and precaution margins the Diyanet uses. In our comparisons fajr, sunrise, dhuhr, maghrib and isha match exactly, and asr differs by at most a minute or two.
Which translations are available?
The Diyanet, Elmalılı Hamdi Yazır, Ali Bulaç, Süleyman Ateş and Yaşar Nuri Öztürk translations are available, along with the transliteration. There are also English, Arabic, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Indonesian, Urdu and Persian translations.
Where is my data kept?
Your bookmarks, reading progress and tasbih records are kept on our own servers. You sign in with your Apple or Google account, and you can delete your account whenever you wish.
